Ceramically applicable advice and research

Together with our measurement group and laboratory, we are able to accurately document your current procedures and then provide recommendations for quality improvement, production speed and/or (energy) cost savings.

We research and advise in the fields of:

• clay / mass preparation,

• handling of products,
• internal transport,
• logistics and
• flue gas cleaning.

The composition of the raw material is essential for every ceramic production process. Our laboratory carries out analyses on clay, sand and other additives for their particle size distribution, chemical composition, drying behaviour and thermal behaviour. From this we can determine the ceramic applicability. The quality and the properties of the products and their durability are determined based on common test methods (usually EN or ISO).

TCKI has received accreditation for nearly all analyses from the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA).
