Flue-gas cleaning

TCKI performs RvA accredited flue gas emission measurements, which are used by the authorities to award environmental permits. Our specialised measurement technicians use our TCKI measurement vehicle to record emission concentration in an accurate and reliable manner. These measurements include the concentrations of:

• oxygen,
• carbon monoxide,
• chlorides,
• nitrogen oxides,
• total particulate,
• carbon dioxide,
• fluorides,
• sulphur oxides,
• hydrocarbons,
• fine particulates.

Other components can be measured upon request.

If the emissions for flue gas components exceed the limits, we can on behalf of the client draw up a list of requirements for flue gas cleaning, request and compare quotes, supervise the implementation of a new installation and provide acceptance measurements upon delivery.

This approach uses the combined efforts of TCKI´s laboratory, measuring group, drawing room and advisory group. Other sectors - outside of the ceramic industry - can also use our specialised knowledge about measuring or reducing process emissions.
