Tests on roof tiles

Ceramic roof tiles must meet the requirements of EN 1304 and in addition in the Netherlands they must also meet aspects associated with the KOMO guarantee (in Belgium the BENOR guarantee and in Germany an "Überwachung"). Various characteristics are periodically checked for the purposes of verification.

These include:

• damages,
• (working) sizes,
• shape characteristics (camber and twist),
• water permeability,
• breaking strength and
• frost-resistance.

All activities are RvA accredited.

In addition to products fired from clay, we can also test roof tiles made from other raw materials.
