Physical, mechanical, chemical and thermal tests on building materials

Raad van AccreditatieMany characteristics of building materials can and must be checked and tested. This includes

  • shape characteristics,
  • water suction,
  • water absorption,
  • water permeability,
  • strength properties and
  • aspects of durability (resistance to active salts and frost)

There are different tests methods that are customary and prescribed for each type of material. We perform investigations for the production control of manufacturers, for certification bodies such as IKOB-BKB and KIWA and for traders and private individuals.

Almost all activities are RvA accredited.

Of course we can also conduct tests and checks according to customer specifications if required. In addition to ceramic products, we also tests units from natural stone, (aerated autoclaved) concrete or calcium silicate bricks.
